Customer: Hey there, I see you got the new Mac Pro Book!
Me: Yes, the MacBook Pro.
Customer: Ah, and you use the Photoshop to make things?
Me: Yep, the whole design suite.
Customer: Wow, do you also use Illustration?
Me: You mean Illustrator? Yeah, it comes with the suite.
Customer: That's amazing! Do you make websites with the -um-Photoshop? Cuz I have FrontPage and I was wondering if I could make webpages like that (points at my screen)
Me: Um, well, if you really wanna do it yourself I would recommend you get a book and learn HTLM and CSS. Then go ahead and invest some money on a program like Dreamweaver.
Customer: Oh, okay. And how long did it take you to learn all that?
Me: A couple of months to learn, then years just to get the hang of it. I guess you could say I'm still learning.
Customer: Oh, all righty then. Let's see, I want 20 pages, a shopping cart system for 200+ products, I'm not really sure. I have some ideas on what it should look like. I'm also assuming you guys can make a couple of changes a day once it's up? And I would like to keep this little project under $150 bucks. Do you guys have any after-holiday specials?
