I’m just getting started with this but what do you guys think?
I follow several tumblelogs and that means I don’t always have the time to check back and look at all the posts I’ve missed. That’s why I have bookmarked a handful of sites whose updates I can’t afford to miss. They are perfect examples of what a tumblelog should be: sometimes original content is posted but nevertheless, it’s always thought through, cleaned up and presented neatly. Here are just two:
Ever wonder what a perfect tumblelog is supposed to look like? Matthew’s is it. A beautifully-designed transmission from the deep south that raises the standard of microblogging. Besides the clever design you’ll notice that Matthew thinks through each post, explaining and commenting on it, then organizes it with tags and a unique short url. This serious attention to detail makes it easy to spend hours browsing this wonderful collection of images, videos, links and the like.
Sites like these aren’t built, they’re crafted – for you – so be sure to visit and follow. I can promise you you won’t be let down.
Also, be sure to check out the History section to the right for some useful and memorable posts.
David is a man who knows just what to do if his cat makes too much noise which should be reason enough for you to click that fancy dancy +Follow button, but I’ll give you a few more anyways. 9-Bits always offers good, quick commentary on the latest design and tech news. David is also a wizard of sorts. Proof: jQTouch & WebKitBits. And sometimes, if you’re lucky, he gives stuff away. That’s right, stuff for free.
Not many give back to the online community like David and, well, that’s just awesome. If you like technology, design and all that comes with it you should definitely follow 9-Bits.
Yep, there’s a few others but I’ll save those for later. Happy new year, people!

Thanks to those who gave answers last time!
Made a few revisions to this. I can’t seem to break away from Didot but I’m open to suggestions. Link goes to larger image. Thoughts?
Note: Didot here is on a letter (8.5”x11”) size doc so, naturally the thins appear almost too thin. It would, preferably, be adjusted depending on the size of the media it’s on since the font comes with several size-specific weights.
Hey you awesome Tumblr designers, you.
I’m doing an experiment on a fictional organization called Centro de Arte, Mexico (CA–M). I will be designing every single aspect of this faux non-profit (ok, pun intended) and publishing the comps and stuff online for public feedback. My goal here is to get to know new forms of design and develop my skills further in each.

Really, any kind of constructive criticism helps more than you know. So I really need to hear – what do you guys think?
