Supposedly, the affiliate links were never an issue until recently.
Now, Inquisitor ”explicitly tags product/affiliate links in search results and, furthermore, now includes an user preference to disable these links all together.”
I figured he has the right to do this since the plugin is free. It was strange how crazy people got over the whole mess.
